JOB PURPOSE

The Canoo Design Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Composites Fabricator. The primary responsibility of this role is to help bring designs into reality using composite fabrication techniques with various substrates.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Production, cutting, grinding, shaping, welding, bending, and bonding of foams, wood, plastics, glass, and composites
• Geared towards the production and modification of concept vehicles and support properties

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years of experience in composites layup
• Experience in preparing of molds and forms
• Experience in vacuum bagging components for curing
• Skilled inworking with both fiberglass and carbon fiber
• Experienced in panel trimming

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Composite panel fitment
• Light duty equipment operation(forklift, stringo)
• Hard modeling experience
• Surfacing/paint prep experience
