    Job Description

    Canopy Cove is seeking an experienced Outreach Coordinator to represent Canopy's treatment programs for Eating Disorders in Tallahassee, FL. 

    The Outreach and Marketing Professional is responsible for community outreach, professional referral relationships, and overall marketing strategy and reports to the VP of Referral Development. The Outreach Coordinator should be based in the Panhandle of Florida or central Florida, a relocation stipend is negotiable. 

    JOB REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

    • Demonstrate current detailed knowledge in mental health services specific to eating disorders and related co-occurring conditions
    • Proficiency in communicating treatment philosophy, levels of care, access to care process
    • Develop a marketing and sales strategy
    • Develop web-site and social marketing programs
    • Direct marketing to local and regional treatment professionals, behavioral health, and medical organizations, professional societies
    • Attend national and regional related professional and patient forums
    • Develop close working relationships with other behavioral health organizations
    • Create and manage professional site visits and local professional development programs
    • Act as liaison to high-risk populations and organizations
    • Nurture relationships with community advocates
    • Maintain data-base of key contacts via CRM tool or equivalent
    • Meets or exceeds quarterly referral & admissions goals. 
    • Demonstrates the ability to grow Canopy Cove's outpatient and residential programs

    THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

     

    • Previous outside sales or marketing experience
    • Clinical experience in behavioral health or related field
    • Knowledge of managed care and insurance as it relates to mental health benefits
    • Must be computer savvy
    • Self-starter with a strong ability to work independently with limited direction
    • Creative problem solver who can effectively communicate solutions and execute those solutions
    • Desire and passion to help benefit and serve the eating disorders community
