We are currently seeking a wood working professional to join our team. Position Overview: In the Custom Framing/ woodworking position you will be responsible for crafting custom frames that perfectly compliment customers' artwork, photographs, and treasured items. Utilizing your woodworking expertise, you will work diligently in our well-equipped workshop to create frames that exceed our clients' expectations. Key Responsibilities: Frame Construction: Utilize double mitre saw and other precision tools to accurately cut and build frames to the required dimensions, ensuring a perfect fit for the artwork. Attention to Detail: Demonstrate an impeccable eye for detail and craftsmanship, ensuring the finished frames meet the highest quality standards and align with the client's specific requirements. Workstation Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the safe storage of tools and materials, to ensure a safe and efficient working environment. Inventory Control: Keeping track of inventory Collaborate closely with the front-end framing specialists to ensure seamless communication and timely completion of framing orders. Quality Control: Perform thorough quality checks on completed frames to guarantee they meet our quality standards. Follow Safety Procedures and regulations Physical Requirements: Be capable of lifting heavy materials, up to 50 lbs, as part of daily job tasks Qualifications and Skills: Experience in woodworking and custom framing is preferred but not required Training is provided Proficiency in using saws, cutting tools, and other woodworking/ Framing equipment. Strong eye for detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Physical strength and stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy materials and standing for long periods Knowledge of various framing materials and their characteristics is a plus. Schedule and Employment: Full-time position, with working hours from Tuesday through Friday 10-6 and Saturdays 10-4 Punctuality and reliability are essential.
