Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The IT Test Analyst is responsible for initially identifying and subsequently defining the required tests, monitoring the test coverage and evaluating the overall quality experienced when testing the Test Items. This role also involves specifying the required Test Data and evaluating the outcome of the testing conducted in each test cycle.

SUMMARY OF ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·      Creation and update of user stories and test cases

·      Test preparation and coordination of all related activities

·      Documentation of test status

·      Coordination of post-testing and error handling

·      Support the IT manager in creating test plans and test scripts

·      Identifying the Target Test Items to be evaluated by the test effort

·      Defining the appropriate tests required and any associated Test Data

·      Working with the test team to coordinate all test tasks on a weekly basis

·      Gathering and managing the Test Data

·      Manage test data by documenting the results of each test cycle to identify flaws

·      Improving knowledge of business applications and user needs and expectations

·      Evaluating the outcome of each test cycle

·      Reporting the test status and any risks to the IT department

·      Understanding and implementing industry standards and protocols

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES

Minimum Education Requirements:

·       Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Equivalent work experience would be considered.

·       At least 1 year of professional experience in the field of test management or specific process know-how from the bike industry

·       Experience in dealing with Jira and Confluence

·       Experience in the methodological setup of software tests

·       Ability to track and write articulate reports on technical assessments.
