    JOB OVERVIEW

    Assume direct responsibility and accountability for the operational function as Supply Chain Management (SCM) Capability Leader. Control and provide leadership, develop the strategy and the people capabilities to align with business growth objectives.

    Capgemini’s North America Oracle Practice is looking for an experienced Oracle Supply Chain Management professional with 12 to 15 years of experience in the IT consulting industry. Minimum 10 years of Implementation experience in Oracle Supply Chain Technologies, with at least 3 years of experience developing solutions and/or implementing Oracle Supply Chain Cloud.  Looking for an experienced leader who has a broad & practical understanding of Oracle products (Oracle EBS through 12.x and Supply Chain Cloud) and solid business process experience.  We seek a seasoned professional who enjoys crafting a presentation and delivering said presentation to a prospective client.  A detail oriented professional with experience leading large teams or organizations that is comfortable navigating complex organizational structures to achieve desired outcomes. 

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    A professional at this position level within Capgemini has the following roles & responsibilities:

    ·       Work in tandem with the India-based SCM Capability Leader to provide leadership and direction to a large, distributed workforce of Oracle SCM professionals in the US and India. 

    ·       Responsible for key metrics and KPIs (headcount growth, utilization, people development KPIs, etc…) across the Oracle NA Supply Chain practice.

    ·       Drive internal awareness in Oracle SCM space, a capability leader will understand Oracle’s Supply Chain product roadmap and align it to internal strategic initiatives related to workforce transformation, solution development, and staffing.   

    ·       Create differentiators for NA Oracle Practice through the ideation, design, development and/or delivery of a solution, service, capability or offering. 

    ·       Develop, implement & drive an effective training, certification, up-skilling & cross-skilling roadmap for capability. 

    ·       Identify, assess and solve complex business problems for capability, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

    ·       Liaison with Sector delivery, Operations & Recruitment to effectively manage demand-supply & bench strength of Supply Chain Management (SCM) capability in the US. 

    ·       Support Pre-Sales/GTM teams by way of participating in RFPs, RFIs, Orals, Client visits, creating POCs & conducting specific client presentations.

    ·       Lead the solutioning and estimating in proposals, planning and pricing.

    ·       Help build sales pipeline and supporting business opportunities to drive Oracle-related sales.

    ·       Take a proactive approach to risk management, ensuring risks and issues are identified, addressed and reported and, where appropriate, escalated.

    ·       Manage communication, escalations, risks & issues pertaining to account/project delivery with sector delivery leads.

    ·       Suggest & drive continuous service improvements in SCM capability.

    ·       Maintain and improve Pyramid Structure within the capability & align it with the overall Oracle practice.

    ·       Serve as an internal advocate and champion for Oracle Supply Chain products and SCM Capability solution initiatives.

    ·       Responsible for overall people management, development & retention of SCM capability consultants.

    REQUIRED SKILLS

    ·       Experienced Senior Consulting or IT manager with a proven track record in delivering successful projects.

    ·       Strong management consulting and client interaction skills

    ·       Strong executive presence

    ·       Able to lead strategic assessment, roadmap, and process/technology design projects

    ·       Goal oriented professional with a high degree of self-motivation.  

    ·       Minimum 10 years of solution architecture experience implementing Oracle Supply Chain products.  Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role developing solutions or implementing Oracle Supply Chain Cloud.  Proven track record of leading enterprise solution design and configuration activities across or at least 3 of the following domain areas:

    1.      Procurement

    2.      Order Management

    3.      Manufacturing

    4.      Supply Chain Planning

    5.      Logistics

    ·       Deep understanding of Supply Chain business practices across a variety of industries, including emerging capabilities and domain area trends. 

    ·       Experience managing large teams and/or work efforts at a client or within a large global consulting organization.

    ·       Excellent delegation skills, negotiation skills and strong people management skills.

    ·       Good communication skills, as this role involves working with other functions of the practice on a daily basis.

    ·       Experience with the “People Supply Chain” processes of a global SI or large specialized supply chain boutique, with documented experience hiring candidates. 

    ·       Strong ability to implement solutions to solve business problems.

    ·       Deep experience in leadership and executive roles, with a history of leading large (+50 people) teams. 

    ·       Strong experience is sales lifecycle, sales strategy and deal shaping.
