We are growing quickly in North America via inbound sales opportunities and partnerships and are expanding our team to develop a proactive “hunting” capability. Our ideal candidate will, at minimum, be a consultative seller–conversant in customer loyalty strategies and solutions and plugged into the loyalty marketplace. The candidate will be capable of engaging senior to C-suite client stakeholders across a broad range of industries. Particular attention will be paid to candidates with experience in Retail, Travel, Hospitality, Restaurants, and Manufacturing/CPG. The Account Executive role is a remote work position and will focus on technology platform sales in North America.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Identify new software license opportunities for the Capillary platform in the defined territory (key accounts in an assigned region).
- Gain a deep understanding of customers’ business challenges, their impact and how Capillary’s offerings can help overcome the challenges.
- Work closely with the demand generation/marketing team and assigned Sales Development Representative to design and run campaigns addressing the defined territory.
- Work closely with the marketing and events team to design, support and/or attend events (virtual and in-person) to engage with prospects.
- Provide initial introductory presentations, product demonstrations and general support to prospective customers.
- Meet and exceed your biannual sales goals (quota) through prospecting, pursuing, qualifying, and driving sales opportunities in the defined territory to closure in collaboration with Capillary’s North America marketing team, Sales Director, and Senior Leadership teams.
- Move a large number of deals simultaneously through the sales pipeline.
- Engage closely with the solution delivery/implementation team to help determine the best implementation method and project plan during the Sales process.
- Maintain accurate customer data and activity visibility and excellent pipeline hygiene as well as regular, realistic forecasts on your opportunities.

Education, Experience and Qualifications:
- 4+ years of sales experience with at least 2 years of experience in selling SaaS solutions to middle-market and large enterprises.
- Loyalty, CRM or Martech experience required.
- Proven record of driving results in a goal-oriented, highly accountable, sales environment.
- Comfortable operating in a highly dynamic and at times, ambiguous corporate environment.
- Has the ability to converse at any level within the customer organization (C-Suite/ Business/Department Heads).
- Has an entrepreneurial mind-set, and is forward thinking with decision making skills.
- Bachelor's degree from a top ranked institution

- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
Travel:
- This role is expected to travel 20% of the time.
