    JOB TITLE: BIO Teaching Assistant Work-Study

     

    DEPARTMENT: Health & Natural Sciences

     

    PAY RATE: $12.25 per hour 

     

    NUMBER OF OPENINGS: 1

     

    Fall and Spring Semesters 2019-2020

     

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

     

    • The position of a CCD Biology Department Teaching Assistant helps full time biology faculty with aspects of classroom lecture set up and laboratory set up and clean up.  
    • Duties include: General biology lecture/lab prep for BIO 201 and 202, Lab clean-up
    • Live animal care, lab equipment maintenance

     

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

     

    •  Must be a current student of the Community College of Denver, taking at least six hours of credit and awarded work-study funds.
    • Has completed bot BIO 112 or Equivalent course successfully
    • Independent worker
    • ability to ask insightful questions
    • Detail oriented

     

     

     

     

     

    TIME COMMITMENT

     

    20 hours a week (may not exceed 20 hours per week)
