We've an exciting opportunity available in Woodland Hills as Payment Specialist!

ROLE:

This position serves a pivotal role in real time processing of client orders globally through staffing in each region. Responsibilities include but are not limited to processing all foreign exchange transactions from in puting payment information, posting payments, reviewing beneficiary details.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Processing all foreign exchange transactions, including wire transfers and drafts
2. Input FX payments  
3. Posting of payments
4. Review wire instructions
5. Issue foreign and domestic checks.
6. Input beneficiary details

AUTHORITY:

1. Process wire payments and drafts within the service agreements between departments and polices and procedures required by AFEX.
2. Research and apply missing payment information utilizing department policies and procedures.
3. Make amendments and or modifications to payments for Account Executives per department policies and procedures.
4. Respond to inquiries within service agreement parameters.

ACCOUNTABILITY:

1. Reports to Operations Manager.
2. Accountable to process all payments within department policies and procedures.
3. Accountable to Account Executives to process and or respond to queries within service agreement parameters.

Required Skills Required Experience

1. A minimum of 1 year experience with domestic and foreign exchange payment processing preferred.
2. Attention to detail is needed to ensure payment accuracy and delivery to ultimate beneficiary.
3. Ability to analyze payment instructions for viability.
4. Ability to work within rules and guidelines.
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills with internal and external contacts required.

-- Banking Payment System and knowledge of SWIFT systems is a major PLUS!
