    SUMMARY:

    Responsibilities: Track titles that have not arrived at the dealership from payoffs or customer trade in.  Inquire on progress of lein payoffs confirm payoff amounts with lenders.  Must be organized and have some experience with excel.

    Requirements: Previous automotive dealership title assistant experience, deal processing or banking; Proficient with standard computer software & accounting software; Current North Carolina Notary Public a plus.

     

    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Assist in preparing tax and title documents on a timely basis
    • Examines contracts to assure conformity to specified requirements
    • Assist with submitting legal transfer documents to DMV on a timely
    • basis
    • Maintains CSI at or above company standards
    • Processes paperwork on a timely basis
    • Maintains files of tax and legal transfer documents

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

    • Title Assistant Clerk:  1 years (Preferred)
    • Clerical Experience: 2 years
    • Analytical - Collects and researches data.

    • Customer Service - Manages difficult or emotional customer situations; Responds promptly to customer needs; Solicits customer feedback to improve service; Responds to requests for service and assistance; Meets commitments.
