    We are seeking to hire a PROJECT MANAGER on a 12-MONTH CONTRACT to join our collaborative, high growth organization located at our offices based in either SYDNEY OR MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA.

     

    The Project Manager will impact the organization managing project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure of projects. Achieving this through collaboration with Program Leads, Product Management, Technical Leads, NPI and other cross functional teams to design and develop new products, deliver all project milestones with quality, on time and within budget.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Project Manage new product/s design & development using best practice project management methodologies.
    • Review project scope; develop Project Management Plan and follow through execution.
    • Develop detailed project schedule outlining agreed milestones with key stakeholders.
    • Develop project cost estimations, and champion the cost management.
    • Monitor and control project to ensure delivery on time, cost and quality.
    • Manage project tasks, issues and risks, escalating to key stakeholders as needed.
    • Use appropriate tools and communications mediums to conduct project communications.
    • Conduct regular project checkpoint meetings and follow up with appropriate reporting.
    • Provide timely reports on the project health (time, cost, issues/risks).
    • Capture lessons learned, conduct project handover and other tasks to ensure proper closure of projects.

     SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

    • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (Management, Computer, Electronics).
    • 5+ years hands-on Project Management experience.
    • Experience in project managing electronics product design & development.
    • Excellent communications & stakeholder management skills.
    • Experience managing projects involving multi-discipline engineering.
    • Experience working with contract manufacturers.
    • Independent & adaptable in a fast-paced environment to work on time critical projects.
    • Project management certifications such as PMP or PRINCE II.
    • Proficient with Project Management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence, etc.
