The Residency Training Programs of Meharry Medical College and Nashville General Hospital are fully accredited and provide residents with an opportunity to learn and grow as individuals and community leaders. Our residency programs are housed currently in six academic departments:

• Family and Community Medicine 
• Internal Medicine 
• Obstetrics and Gynecology 
• Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences
• General Practice (Dentistry) 
• Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program

Our programs provide a solid foundation for residents, preparing them for the challenges of the varied roles available to today's physicians and dentists.
