Capital Project Manager – Refinery / Petrochemical

We are seeking a Capital Project Manager to lead multimillion-dollar projects within a refinery and petrochemical environment. This individual will oversee the full lifecycle of capital projects from front-end development through execution, ensuring alignment with safety, budget, and schedule goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage capital projects from concept through mechanical completion in an active refinery/petrochemical facility.

• Interface with client stakeholders, engineering teams, and contractors to ensure project alignment and execution strategy.

• Manage cost control, forecasting, schedules, and contractor performance.

• Oversee compliance with safety, environmental, and QA/QC standards.

• Prepare and deliver project reporting, progress updates, and risk mitigation plans.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 8+ years of capital project experience in the refinery or petrochemical sector.

• Previous experience working with or for an EPC firm.

• Strong understanding of refinery operations, permitting, and execution planning.

• Proven ability to manage contractors, budgets, and timelines in a live plant environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.

• Must be local to or willing to relocate to the Port Arthur, TX area.
