    • Our client has a 40+ year history as an industry leader in the manufacturing and sales of Thermoplastic Adhesive Machinery. They provide unparalleled customer service to their clients and foster a strong company culture, with employee tenure averaging well over 10 years.
    • They are looking for a successful Capital Equipment Sales Engineer to join their team. The Capital Sales Engineer requires a strong mechanical/industrial engineering level of experience and knowledge. Sales are conducted at both the engineering and management levels, targeting a broad range of manufacturers, including those in the furniture and mattress, automotive, and packaging industries.

    Responsibilities:

    • Proactively prospect and identify new clients
    • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients by understanding and addressing their unique needs
    • Develop and present engineering solutions tailored to client requirements, emphasizing product quality, price, and delivery
    • Manage client accounts, prepare quotations, and prepare detailed reports
    • Deliver pre- and post-sales technical assistance, training and support
    • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events to generate leads
    • Collaborate with the team to design and present custom-made products for client needs

    Qualifications:

    • 7+ years proven experience in prospecting and Capital Machinery Sales
    • A strong industrial/mechanical engineering background and the ability to learn complex systems quickly
    • Excellent communication, organizational, and sales skills
    • Resilience, independence, and a proactive approach to securing new business
    • Willingness to travel extensively and adapt to a dynamic schedule (national role)
    • Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related degree preferred

    Compensation:

    • Base salary in the 100k - 120k/year range
    • Uncapped commissions
    • Health insurance fully paid by company
