They are looking for a successful Capital Equipment Sales Engineer to join their team. The Capital Sales Engineer requires a strong mechanical/industrial engineering level of experience and knowledge. Sales are conducted at both the engineering and management levels, targeting a broad range of manufacturers, including those in the furniture and mattress, automotive, and packaging industries.
Responsibilities:
Proactively prospect and identify new clients
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients by understanding and addressing their unique needs
Develop and present engineering solutions tailored to client requirements, emphasizing product quality, price, and delivery
Manage client accounts, prepare quotations, and prepare detailed reports
Deliver pre- and post-sales technical assistance, training and support
Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events to generate leads
Collaborate with the team to design and present custom-made products for client needs
Qualifications:
7+ years proven experience in prospecting and Capital Machinery Sales
A strong industrial/mechanical engineering background and the ability to learn complex systems quickly
Excellent communication, organizational, and sales skills
Resilience, independence, and a proactive approach to securing new business
Willingness to travel extensively and adapt to a dynamic schedule (national role)
Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related degree preferred
