    Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am- 5:00pm

    Job Summary: CWP is currently looking for a Program Coordinator to join the Hartford, CT office.     Job Responsibilities:

    Implementation & Coordination of Training Programs

    · Support the development and launch of new training program(s).

    · Establish workplan for the effective coordination of assigned program(s).

    · Serve as “point of contact” for contractor staff.

    · Train contractor staff on grant-related policies and procedures.

    · Provide technical assistance, administrative guidance, and training to contractors.

    · Facilitate regular meetings of contractors, collaborators, and all related program staff.

    · Work with the Finance department to track spending and timeliness of payments.

    · Support Sr. Program Manager as needed with overall management of assigned program(s).

    · Responsible for program reporting.

    Performance & Data Monitoring

    · Review participant enrollment paperwork to ensure eligibility.

    · Track and manage performance data and progress toward goals using CWP’s Employment to Outcomes (ETO) Data System.

    · Manage ETO data clean up.

    · Audit participant data for accuracy.

    · Notify Sr. Manager of Special Programs of any issues or discrepancies.

    Other

    · Assist Sr. Manager of Special Programs with corrective action planning as result of the program monitoring process.

    · Assist with marketing and outreach for program(s).

    · Support CWP Program & Employer Engagement staff as needed to achieve program outcomes

    · Provide support to Supervisor and serve as back up.

    · Maintain knowledge of federal regulations and guidance as well as state and local guidelines and policies governing assigned state and federal grants.

    Qualifications:

    · Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business, social science or social work, or other applicable field of study.

    · Two or more years (2+) of experience working with workforce development or employment training programs.

    · Experience in making written and oral presentations and reports using both data and narrative sources.

    · Contract management or grant writing experience is preferred.

    · Must be able to interpret and apply complex written materials and regulations (federal and state laws and CWP procedures).

    · Ability to monitor and evaluate strategies to ensure programs/projects are completed by deadlines and in compliance with regulations and laws.

    · Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload.

    · Ability to operate in a professional team environment and contribute to the team product, balancing individual, and group priorities.

    · Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills.

    · Ability to proactively use technical expertise to support continuous improvement for the organization.

    · Ability to analyze and interpret data, and to create reports and presentations.

    · Ability to maintain positive working relationships both internally and externally.

    · Skill in facilitating interagency cooperative relationships; setting up meetings and forums to foster cooperation among and between entities.

    · Ability to work independently, prioritize assignments, estimate time requirements, and meet deadlines.

    · Knowledge of federal, state, and local workforce development programs, including Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) and Jobs First Employment Services (JFES).
