    Job Summary: CWP is currently looking for a Career Navigation Systems Coordinator with experience within the workforce development sector to work in the Hartford, CT office.     What you will do:

    · Curate and maintain a public list of current youth career education, training, and employment opportunities, including an up-to-date contact person for each agency.

    · Provide Career Navigators with frequent updates about job opportunities, policy changes related to workforce training programs, or other relevant content to promote knowledge sharing, including through regular, recurring convenings of local navigators.

    · Explore possibilities for an inter-agency case-management system and take steps to work with agencies to support this system, including securing and budgeting funds. Implement initial strategies to enhance coordinated case management and referrals and streamline data collection and reporting across the system through cross-agency data-sharing agreements implemented through the Hartford Data Collaborative.

    · Execute Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with organizations that employ Career Navigators, Youth Outreach Workers, and Peer-to-Peer mentors, reflecting clear lines of connection to the Career Navigation System Coordinator and outlining activities that facilitate collaboration and system-wide accountability. Develop referral data capture and reporting mechanisms across agencies, in alignment with Hartford Data Collaborative agreements.

    · Create and brand Career Navigation hubs at neighborhood-oriented, youth-friendly locations including public libraries and other neighborhood-based agencies to serve as bases of operation for Career Navigators from different agencies.

    · Support a Community of Practice (COP) by communicating the needs of Navigators, developing professional development opportunities, and participating in group activities to build skills and increased collaboration across agencies. As feasible, the CNSC will coordinate training and networking opportunities for Navigators.

    · Align the Career Navigation network to the workforce system and significant collaborative initiatives, including the American Job Centers, Work-Based Learning Network, and Regional Sector Partnerships, among others.

    What you will need:

    3-5 year of experience in systems management, project management, workforce development.

    Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communications skills.

    Ability to analyze and interpret data and create reports and presentations.

    Ability to work independently and collaboratively, prioritize assignments, estimate time requirements, and meet deadlines with speed and accuracy.

    Manage multiple tasks simultaneously with ability to change priorities quickly.

    Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.

    Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills while demonstrating team orientation and flexibility.

    Good listening skills and expert attention to detail.

    Professional presence and demeanor.

    Ability to work with and develop data systems to coordinate initiatives.
