Job Purpose:

Make a difference in your community! You will be providing medical equipment services to the non-profit organization of skilled professionals and dedicated volunteers serving patients and families in the Martin, St. Lucie, and Okeechobee counties. This is an active delivery position and will require preparing, loading, unloading, and operating a delivery vehicle as well as installing medical equipment in the patient setting. After a training period, you will be able to successfully instruct patients and caregivers on how to properly and safely operate medical equipment to allow them to be more comfortable in their setting.

Hours:

Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm

Up to two weekends on-call each month

Responsibilities and Duties:

Prepares truck for operation, loads truck, delivers and unloads items.

Instructs patients and caregivers how to safely operate equipment.

Serves customers by resolving or forwarding complaints

Maintains safe operation by complying with organization operational policies, procedures, and standards, as well as state and local driving rules and regulations.
