    Crowley is actively hiring a Captain for the Crowley Tug and Barge Services Team. The current openings are with Seafarers' International Union (SIU. Union membership is required upon acceptance of a permanent role.

    • Job Description:

    Provide safe and efficient operation of the vessel at all times includes maneuvering the tug and barge. Ensures that performance of vessel & crew are in compliance with all Safety & Security directives as well as all other Company Procedures & Guidelines and Regulatory Agency requirements. Also, must ensure that proper and timely communications are maintained with appropriate shoreside management. Primary responsibility for all matters regarding vessel activity including but not limited to administration, navigation, operational matters, engineering matters, crew supervision, and crew training.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    * Master 1600 Gross Tons upon Oceans License (Oceans)
    
    * Master on vessels less than 3000 GT (International)
    
    * Master of Towing Vessels upon Oceans 
    
    * Unlimited/Limited DP Certificate recognized by the Nautical Institute
    
    * Valid STCW with all required endorsements (including, but not limited to OICNW, RADAR/ARPA, ECDIS, VSO, CPR/First Aid, and Advanced Firefighting)
    
    * Current TWIC
    
    * Valid Passport – must be able to travel internationally with no felonies, or other convictions which would restrict entry into Canada or other nations.
    

    Minimum Experience

    * 2 years sailing as a Master on an Ocean going tug. 
    

    Preferred Experience:

    * Shipyard Competent Person
    
    * Designated Examiner (TOAR) / Qualified Assessor (QA)
    
    * Helm vessel management software experience 
    
    * Kongsberg Dynamic Positioning Operating Systems
    

    Day rate: Starting at 902.19/day

    Hitch: 30 days/ 30 days

  • Qualifications
    • Current NYS Registered Nursing License. B.S or M.S. preferred
    • Case Management certification from accepting accrediting body, preferred
    • Minimum 5 years of clinical medical-surgical experience and 3-5 years experience as a hospital in-patient Case manager
    • Must possess knowledge of Federal and State regulations pertaining to hospital reimbursement, the utilization review process and the discharge planning function
    • Knowledge of identification, assessment, and intervention pertaining to high-risk populations
    • Working knowledge/experience with hospital/care management software, documenting electronically, and compiling data from the electronic medical record
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and scanning
    • PRI and Screen certifications.
