We are searching for an analytically minded diesel-auto mechanic to help our repair shop resolve issues with our vehicles’ performance, structure, appearance, and functionality. You’ll repair minor diesel problems, including computer and electrical problems, along with cylinder, hydraulic hose, and general maintenance, repairs. A CDL is highly required. Responsibilities: • Remedy mechanical problems and malfunction codes that are identified in the vehicle's electrical system, mechanical systems, and electronic systems • Pursue continued education opportunities to grow technical skills • Provide preventive maintenance work like replacing brake pads, adjusting fluids, rotating tires, completing oil changes, and servicing the air conditioning • Ensure accurate record-keeping for vehicle repairs, maintenance, and service history • Inspect, test drive, and perform diagnostic tests to determine vehicle problems, parts needed for repairs, and necessary work Qualifications: • Required state-issued driver’s license • Excellent work ethic, listening, problem-solving, and communication skills are desired • Good manual dexterity and effective use of hand tools and other equipment needed for vehicle repairs • An associate's degree from a vocational or technical school and/or ASE certification are a plus • Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent Compensation: $31,2000 - $45,750 yearly
