Our growing auto body shop seeks a mechanic to join our talented team of auto mechanics and service technicians. The ideal candidate should be comfortable assessing vehicle components ranging from electronic systems to air conditioning units. Responsibilities: • Generating repair estimates, timelines, and process documents for automotive work • Team up with managers and other mechanics to diagnose and service cars coming in for auto repairs • Pursue continued education opportunities to grow technical skills • Keep organized vehicle repairs, maintenance, and service history records. • Conduct test drives, inspections, and diagnostic tests to determine automotive malfunctions Qualifications: • Strong work ethic and excellent communication skills are necessary • A valid driver’s license is necessary • Good manual dexterity and effective use of hand tools and other equipment needed for vehicle repairs • Preferred education is an associate’s degree from a technical school or relevant automotive program and/or ASE certification • Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent • 1+ years of mechanical automotive experience Compensation: $55,000 - $96,000 yearly
