    ABOUT CARDA 

    Rehab is a pain. Providing it safely and conveniently has proven impossible for hospitals, health systems and physician groups. The result is that less than 10% of qualifying Cardiovascular and Pulmonary patients attend, which results in shorter lives, more complications, and huge additional costs to the system. At Carda Health, we have solved this problem — we have reimagined rehab to meet the needs of patients. Our program allows patients to complete engaging, compassionate, and life-saving rehabilitation virtually — a huge need especially given the risks that COVID-19 poses to our patients. 

    Now that the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has green-lighted our service for reimbursement, we are partnering with health systems to serve patients in need around the country.     WHO ARE YOU?

    You are our Head of Health System Sales, charged first and foremost with increasing our reach into health systems around the country. You are responsible for identifying, selling and closing health systems so that they roll out Carda and expand their outpatient rehab capacity. You've exceeded sales quotas at every one of your previous roles, have deep provider relationships, and you know how to work collaboratively with the team to help improve the product offering.

    In short, if you are a determined, mission-driven individual with deep experience in provider sales and you are interested in transforming American healthcare, we'd love to talk.

    IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL

    • Identify, cultivate, sell and close. Practically, this means getting in front of the Cardiovascular service line and/or Cardiac and Pulmonary rehabilitation teams at hospitals, health systems, and multi-speciality physician practices, and convincing them to offer Carda Health to their patients
    • Manage a pipeline of pursuits and relationships, including prospecting, outreach, product and platform demonstrations, prospecting webinars and other marketing opportunities to amplify and evangelize the Carda message
    • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets, providing transparent forecasting and communication with Carda's leadership team
    • Work collaboratively across product, engineering, sales, and Carda leadership to provide feedback from prospective and existing customers, and to inform future product roadmap and expansion strategy

    WHAT WE LOOK FOR

    • 6-8 years of relevant experience and top performance selling clinical solutions/services into health systems
    • Experience working strategically to improve sales processes and owning the entire sales process from initial meeting to patient acquisition
    • Determination and creativity. Practically, this could mean experience with lead generation/prospecting and/or Sales Development, but also in designing creative ways to get the attention of provider organizations 
    • Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM
    • Strong communication skills — verbal, listening and written. We have a strong bias towards complete, thoughtful, written  arguments at Carda Health
    • Highly organized with the ability to create, adhere to, and scale repeatable processes 
    • Ability to perform with little direction in a high-growth, early stage startup (aka self-driven)
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

    BONUS POINTS

    • 6+ years exceeding sales quotas selling into provider organizations 
    • Experience with Google Drive, Basecamp and distributed team technologies
    • Experience managing long term relationships with provider groups in addition to selling to them
    • Strong product intuition—an ability to grasp and communicate the minimum amount of engineering work needed to unlock significant revenue

    LOCATION

    Founders are located in Philadelphia and New York. Head of Health System Sales can be located anywhere in the US, with the ability to travel safely to meetings with prospective partners and occasional team Carda gatherings
