Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist / Cardiovascular Technologist to join our Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology team in San Francisco, California.
The ideal candidate will have strong hospital-based experience in Cardiac Cath, EP labs, Interventional Radiology, or OR/Hybrid OR Interventional Radiology lab and be comfortable working in a fast-paced acute-care setting.
Key Responsibilities
Support cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, structural heart, and vascular procedures.
Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment and produce high-quality diagnostic images.
Perform both scrub and circulating responsibilities as required.
Assist physicians and the procedural team during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Document procedures using GE Mac-Lab / CardioLab systems.
Submit and maintain high-quality images in PACS.
Provide procedural and patient support within the scope of practice.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, anesthesia, and other clinical departments.
Follow infection control, radiation safety, and patient safety standards.
Assist with equipment troubleshooting and coordinate with Biomedical Engineering when needed.
Participate in performance improvement initiatives and inventory management.
Work effectively in a large, multidisciplinary team environment.
Required Qualifications
2+ years of Radiologic Technologist experience in:
Cardiac Cath/EP Lab, OR/Hybrid OR, or
Interventional Radiology
Hospital/acute-care experience preferred.
California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license.
ARRT certification.
California State Fluoroscopy Permit.
American Heart Association BLS certification.
American Heart Association ACLS certification.
RCIS certification preferred.
Schedule & Work Requirements
Full-time, 3x12-hour shifts.
Variable scheduling based on departmental needs.
Must be willing to work weekends and holidays.
Participation in the on-call rotation is required.
