    RESPONSIBILITIES: As a Cloud Infrastructure Architect you will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of the infrastructure and tooling within the company:

    • Lead and coordinate technical and business discussions relative to future architecture direction across multiple teams
    • Analyze, design and develop a roadmap and implementation plan based upon a current vs. future state
    • Design, deploy and manage the client’s infrastructure in public clouds (AWS or GCP)
    • Design, architect, and implement next-generation automation solutions for CI/CD
    • Provide leadership, technology guidance and mentorship
    • Work closely with software engineering teams to constantly improve the availability of services
    • Manage seamless upgrades of infrastructure and services through automation
    • LEVERAGE CONTAINER PLATFORMS SUCH AS KUBERNETES FOR LARGE SCALE DEPLOYMENT OF MICROSERVICES
    • Identify, gather, analyze and automating responses to key performance metrics, logs, and alerts
    • Ensure infrastructure security compliance
    • Conduct periodic on-call duties as needed on a regular scheme basis

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    • BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
    • 6+ YEARS of industry experience designing and implementing successful large scale infrastructure on public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP)
    • Fluent in one or more of Python, Go, Java, or Ruby
    • Hands-on experience in containerization and cloud services frameworks in both Kubernetes and AWS

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Experience in operations include running and maintaining software, operating a large public cloud deployment, creating and triaging alerts around the health and security
    • Strong track record of implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing environments
    • Designing, analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems
    • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges
    • Experience driving discussions with senior personnel regarding trade-offs, best practices, project management, and risk mitigation
    • Experience with logging, monitoring, and alerting tools such as New Relic,DataDog, and PagerDuty
