    Marketing Intelligence Startup is looking for an experienced, problem-solving WordPress Developer (contract) responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins.

    This position requires a combination of programming skills (PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript) and aesthetics.

    We’re looking for a candidate capable of working cross-functionally with internal and external resources to achieve stunning and functional web and responsive experiences. If you have a passion for the entire spectrum of code, best practices, performance, and accessibility (W3C standards), then this is the role for you.     General Requirements:

    • Minimum of 3 years experience in a development role
    • Experience working with WordPress, PHP, Javascript, HTML/CSS, MYSQL
    • Ability to commit to and fulfill tight deadlines reliably
    • Ability to work in varying workloads
    • Great verbal and written communication skills; an ability to convey complex ideas effectively and efficiently
    • Extreme attention to detail and a no-compromise attitude towards quality

    • Experience working in-house with various teams

    Responsibilities:

    • Developing and implementing new features and functionality
    • Working collectively to define and guide the website’s architecture
    • Manage bugs and quick fixes
    • Managing all technical aspects of the CMS
    • Ensure code quality that works across multiple kinds of devices
    • Collaborate: Work with design, marketers, and other teams to generate effective web solutions. You're someone who is comfortable both giving and receiving feedback
