    Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced Energy Engineer to work on challenging energy and water efficiency projects in multifamily buildings. You should be self-motivated, enjoy working with and designing systems, adapt quickly to new technologies, and enjoy finding energy and water savings opportunities in the world around you. You will join our West Coast Operations serving our clients who own and manage multifamily properties in the Western half of the United States.

    General Requirements

    • Ability to calculate energy savings using industry-standard formulas
    • Advanced Excel and Computer Skills
    • Energy modeling software experience (eQuest, Energy Pro, Energy Plus)
    • Familiar with ‘Energy Upgrade California’ incentive programs
    • Able to effectively work within government and utility incentive programs
    • Knowledge of California building code and energy code
    • Construction Management experience
    • Existing relationships with California real estate professionals, service contractors, utility program implementers, product vendors, energy and water efficiency or renewable professionals
    • Working knowledge of multifamily building types and associated mechanical systems
    • Experience assessing energy and water-related systems
    • Minimum of two years of Energy/Water auditing experience.

    Responsibilities

    • Assess energy and water-related systems commonly found in multifamily buildings
    • Actively participate in professional industry associations
