    Job Description

    Our west coast operations is seeking a Director of Construction to lead and manage our business in California. The candidate will drive a team of project managers to complete energy and water retrofit projects. You will work with internal counterparts including energy engineers, accounting, finance, sales and other divisions within the company.

    General Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) or equivalent in an Engineering science from an accredited four year college or university
    • Capable of following specific safety procedures
    • Acute understanding of project pricing
    • Practical knowledge with budgeting and billing
    • Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
    • Extensive experience with process control
    • Up to date with environmental impacts
    • Able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
    • Strong understanding of transaction cost economics
    • Previous experience with supervising and managing employees
    • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
    • Minimum 10 years of industry experience
