    The Position

    • Join a collegial, well-established network of primary care and specialty providers
    • Employment through Cardiovascular Associates of Marin, the premier single-specialty Cardiology group serving Marin, Sonoma, and Napa Counties
    • Full-time position, based in Marin
    • Exciting growth opportunity with strong clinical, administrative, philanthropic, and marketing support
    • In addition to advanced heart failure patients, physician will see general cardiology patients in this blended community-based practice
    • This is a hybrid position. It includes daily inpatient rounding and outpatient follow-up, with an approximate split of 30-40% inpatient and 60-70% outpatient. This Cardiologist will also be managing hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and amyloid heart disease
    • Call for General Cardiology is approximately one weekend every five weeks and one weeknight every other week
    • EPIC electronic health record utilized

    The Position Requirements

    • M.D.
    • Applicants must be board eligible or certified
    • Experience in the care of heart failure and treatment of mitral valve disease.
    • Board certification in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology is not required.
    • Open to experienced physicians or new grads
    • Licensed or eligible for licensure in California
    • Exhibit excellent communication skills and be able to develop strong relationships with patients, as well as sensitivity to cultural and linguistic differences
    • Practice evidence-based medicine and possess a strong philosophy of excellence in patient care and excellence in the overall patient experience

    Compensation

    • Base salary is commensurate with experience and training. A base of $500K to $600K is guaranteed for 2 years. Beyond the base salary, productivity bonus and incentives add up to a highly competitive total compensation package. Generous benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), and profit-sharing pension plan.

    Cardiovascular Associates of Marin ****

    The group is currently comprised of 22 physicians and 5 Advanced Practitioners delivering all aspects of cardiovascular care, including interventional cardiology, cardiac catheterization, cardiac electrophysiology, structural heart procedures, including TAVR and left atrial appendage closure, cardiac surgery, cardiac rehab and wellness services, advanced cardiac imaging, sports cardiology, clinical research, and consultative cardiology.

    The group's physicians are leaders in their fields and have received specialized training at some of the best medical schools and hospital institutions in the country. The practice has office locations across the North Bay including Larkspur, Novato, Sonoma, Petaluma, and Napa, and provides inpatient services at MarinHealth Medical Center, Novato Community Hospital, and Sonoma Valley Hospital. Due to increased demand, and program development and expansion, the group is seeking to add an additional Cardiologist with advanced imaging skills to the team.
