Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Cardiovascular Cath Lab RN to join our exceptional team in Anchorage, AK. This position offers the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art cardiovascular lab performing a wide range of invasive cardiac, vascular, and interventional procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist and perform cardiac catheterizations , EP device therapies, interventional radiology , neuro-diagnostics, endovascular , and structural heart interventions (TAVR, LAAC).

• Provide comprehensive patient care including transport, site prep, sterile procedures, and post-procedure monitoring.

• Accurately document procedures, maintain compliance, and respond effectively to emergent cases.

• Collaborate closely with physicians, technologists, and nurses to ensure patient safety and high-quality outcomes.

• Demonstrate clinical judgment , critical thinking, and calm under pressure in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

• Minimum 2–3 years of Cath Lab experience , or 5 years in a high-acuity setting (ICU, CCU, or ED).

• BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).

• Experience circulating, monitoring, and administering sedation medications.

• Unit Size: 3 procedure rooms

• Volume: 4–6 procedures per day

• Shift Hours: 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. (12-hour shifts)

• Mapping: Not required (performed by a third-party company)
