We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented cardiovascular professional to support the diagnosis, monitoring, and care of patients with heart and vascular conditions. In this role, you will work closely with physicians and clinical teams to perform noninvasive cardiovascular procedures, prepare patients for testing, and ensure accurate, high-quality results in a compassionate care environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for cardiovascular procedures and explain testing processes in a clear, reassuring manner.
- Perform noninvasive diagnostic tests such as electrocardiograms, stress tests, Holter monitoring, and other cardiovascular studies as assigned.
- Assist with patient monitoring during procedures and recognize changes that require prompt clinical attention.
- Accurately record, document, and report test results according to clinical protocols and facility standards.
- Maintain and calibrate equipment to ensure safe, effective, and reliable operation.
- Follow infection prevention, safety, and privacy procedures at all times.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
- Maintain patient records and ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and timely.
- Support department workflow by preparing supplies, organizing exam rooms, and assisting with scheduling as needed.
Qualifications
- Associate degree, certificate program, or equivalent training in cardiovascular technology or a related healthcare field.
- Prior experience in a clinical or diagnostic testing environment preferred.
- Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and common diagnostic procedures.
- Ability to operate diagnostic equipment and follow established clinical protocols.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and patient confidentiality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting noninvasive cardiology or vascular diagnostics.
- Understanding of cardiac rhythm interpretation and stress testing procedures.
- Certification in cardiovascular technology, ECG, or a related specialty.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing clinical needs.
