  • Responsibilities

    Stetson University is seeking an organized, empathetic, strong multi-tasker who is calm under pressure to join the CLaSS team as the Administrative Support for Stetson Health Service.  Stetson Health Service is a primary care facility on Stetson’s campus operated through a partnership between Stetson University and Advent Health. 

    Reporting to the Director of Stetson Health Service, the Administrative Support will have support responsibility for the health clinic.

        

    • Provide a professional, welcoming environment in the role of receptionist and as first contact with Stetson Health Service
    • Provide support services including scheduling, patient registration, receiving phone calls and addressing all other customer service tasks
    • Protect the confidentiality of patients
    • Maintain knowledge of department policies and procedures. Have a broad knowledge of campus resources to ensure accurate responses to inquiries and referrals.
    • Will engage with Campus Life and Student Success division and larger campus community
    • Provide support to the Director of Stetson Health Service as well as medical providers through Advent Health
    • Responsible for maintenance of incoming student’s Health History Forms and Immunization records
    • Maintain office supplies and related materials
    • Participate in campus outreach events as needed
    • Assist is responding to current health trends in the Stetson community
    • Other duties as assigned

    MINIMUM EDUCATION:  High School Diploma; some college preferred

    • Ability to design and enhance the look of various reports and spreadsheets on Excel
    • Ability to easily navigate the internet and understand how to use searching/researching tools such as Google
    • Ability to learn easily and understand operation of online programs as well as other office equipment such as copy machines, fax machines, phone systems
    • Team player with a positive outlook and motivated to learn new skills and technologies
    • Knowledge of confidentiality strongly desired

    Required Experience

    • High school graduate with some college experience preferred.
    • At least three - five years of administrative/secretarial experience, health insurance, clinical and health experience preferred.

     

     

    Salary Grade:  4
