JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Materials and Logistics Manager will lead end-to-end logistics and materials management functions in a rapidly scaling production environment: supply flow inbound, onsite/offsite warehousing, accurate inventory control, finished goods order accumulation, and world-class delivery of our product to our valued customers and partners. In close collaboration with our customer logistics teams, supplier partners, accounting, sales operations, and manufacturing organizations, we strive meet and exceed our quality, delivery, and cost commitments. Keeping one step ahead of a highly dynamic global trade environment, coordinate advisory support to the Kymeta team on import and export compliance policy and regulations changes. The Senior Materials and Logistics Manager will develop and execute a reverse logistics function, managing global field services parts delivery, material returns, and develop a scalable field service parts strategy.

 KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Materials management: receiving, warehouse put away, picking and kitting, FGI order accumulation, customer delivery, supply leveling across sites.
• Inventory control: physical and financial alignment of inventory processes, yielding a high degree of accuracy.
• Actively drive continuous process improvements, yielding improved delivery, quality, and cost.
• Logistics: inbound freight strategy and execution, domestic and international, import compliance and advisory duties/tariffs/taxes; outbound freight strategy and execution.
• Import/Export compliance
• Customer order logistics coordination and delivery execution.
• Field services parts delivery and returns process management.
• Recommend and select logistics, freight, and warehousing partners.
• Develop and collaborate on strategy to scale logistics, warehousing, and fulfillment networks.
• Create and implement Logistics key performance indicators and dashboard for Kymeta.
• Partner with internal and external Counsel in managing Trade Compliance for imports and exports.
• Coordinate internal Kymeta Trade Compliance training.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Materials and Inventory Control in growth production environment.
• Warehouse management in multi-site environment, with experience enabling growth and scale.
• Global logistics delivery of high value, enterprise-level customer solutions.
• Knowledge of U.S. and Global Trade Compliance, both export and import.
• Knowledge of carrier, broker, freight-forwarder, and 3PL industry, and successful management of Logistics partners.
• Experience managing Global Logistics in a startup environment, with knowledge and experience in high volume logistics delivery.
• Knowledge of Reverse Logistics operations, and field services parts delivery and strategy.
• Experience supporting Global Sales teams in structuring delivery solutions enabling customer success.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelors in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Engineering (Masters preferred) or equivalent work experience
