Call Center Representative I - Full Time - Swansea MA
Primary Purpose:
Management of the maintenance and operations of campus facilities including buildings, grounds, roads, landscape, parking, etc. Supports efforts for facility renewal, replacement, and improvement. Maintains a five-year plan for facility renewal and the funding matrix associated with facility renewal. Supports efforts in campus planning and accomplishing projects included in the Campus Plan. Develops and manages staff in Facilities Management. Manages and assures the optimal functioning of building systems and maintenance of grounds for all campus College of Law properties.
Responsibilities:
* Directs and manages a staff of employees in the maintenance of buildings, grounds, and campus facilities in Gulfport and Tampa and in support of campus events. Facilities include classrooms, courtrooms, offices, and other administrative spaces, library facilities, dorms, apartments, and residential houses.
Required Skills
A.A./A.S. degree required; B.A./B.S. degree preferred. At least 5 years of experience in facilities management, construction management, or a related field. Relies on experience and judgment to develop and successfully organize and manage workflow, implement plans, and manage costs and budget. Specific knowledge and working understanding of HVAC systems and controls. Ability to troubleshoot/diagnose. Ability to effectively manage and prioritize competing demands and to work collaboratively with other departments. Specific knowledge and working understanding of electrical, plumbing systems, grounds maintenance and equipment. Experience in educational or non-profit environment preferred. Ability to interface and communicate effectively with a wide variety of constituents, including faculty, senior administrative staff, alumni, and board members. Must have a valid driver’s license as may travel frequently between campuses. Flexibility to work outside normal hours; nights and weekends may be required. Serves on the College of Law’s emergency team and/or may be required to maintain on-call emergency response status in the event of emergency activities affecting College of Law.
