The Market Access Internship role will assist with the everyday activities of Auryxia’s commercial Trade channel. This includes working with our 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) vendor, direct and indirect customers.
Required Skills
- 3PL Relationship point person
- Oversee and approve order management process and inventory transactions
- Assist and triage any questions from 3PL contact regarding Auryxia
- Track inventory level and purchase activity at 3PL
- Direct Customer Contact
- Monitor customer purchases and dispense trending
- Point person for any channel issues / questions regarding Auryxia supply
- Corporate Account Support
- Work closely with Corporate Account Directors to prepare payer amendments
- Manage legal approval process for payer amendments & route for final execution
- Rebate Management
- Collect and track payer invoices and detail
- Validate, process, and pay rebate invoices through our contracts management system, Model N
- Work with finance at month end to validate payments and which period they relate to
- Assist finance with rebate reserve assumptions based on actuals
- Pricing Committee
- Work with stakeholders to compile slides for Pricing Committee meetings
- Route and Archive final decisions form meeting in email with approval
Required Experience
- Currently enrolled in an accredited university or college in an undergraduate program
- Experience working with Excel, Oracle, and any contract management system would be a plus
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by Akebia
