Position Overview The Community Clinical Trial Educator (CCTE) is a self-starting field-based position seated within the Community Engagement department. The Community Clinical Trial Educator acts as the ambassador for generating awareness of Care Access and clinical trials supported by industry Sponsors. The Community Clinical Trial Educator is responsible for creating awareness, interest, and facilitating enrollment in assigned clinical trials on behalf of Sponsor(s) in assigned CARE District markets, provide secondary support for other US CARE Districts, and support unique clinical trial education approaches in the clinic on behalf of Sponsor(s) on an as needed basis. The CCTE will build strong long term networks and partnerships with community organizations at the local/CARE District level, to provide clinical trial education to community networks, partners, HCPs and potential patient participants. What You'll Be Working On Duties include but are not limited to * The Community Clinical Trial Educator will originate and pull-through education projects by demonstrating their initiative to: * Conduct independent research on the CARE District market(s) deployed, identifying opportunities for community networking and outreach, based upon the sponsor's clinical study population inclusion and cohort criteria. This would include, but not be limited to religious organizations, minority associations, local advocacy groups, community service organizations, civic clubs, retirement communities, physician practices, etc. * Independently perform community networking and outreach activities, calling on new and established community organizations to generate new and deepen existing partnerships; increasing opportunities for clinical trial education in areas that may not otherwise have access to clinical research. * Develop, organize, and participate in educational events established with community partners to deliver clinical trial education to potential partners and potential clinical trial patient participants. * Collaborate with CARE partners including but not limited to District Managers, Physician Access, Patient Access, and -Strategic Partnerships to plan and take hand-offs for CCTE engagement. * Organize and pull-through educational events and partnerships in assigned communities that have been generated by the CARE internal matrix partners, including but not limited to; national community organizations, strategic health systems, and nonprofits. * The Community Clinical Trial Educator is part of a team dedicated to educating communities, potential participants, and healthcare providers , to produce high-quality and inclusive research, in collaboration with our Sponsors. * The Community Clinical Trial Educator uses their experience and independent judgment in the sourcing, planning, collaboration, and delivery of education to a variety of community groups, potential clinical trial participants, and health Care Professionals in group and individual settings. * The Community Clinical Trial Educator is a critical member of the clinical research team and will be assigned to specific Care Access district(s), their related sites and patient access locations, as the primary driver of Community Clinical Trial Education Support. * Additionally, the CCTE will be flexibly deployed to communities in the US and be required to travel via automobile or air, where needs have been identified to support the demand of clinical trial community outreach and education. * Some planning and administrative work will be completed remotely (home office). In addition, the Community Clinical Trial Educator will: * Research community organizations via their network, online, CARE Access matrix collaboration, or through other resources * Represent Care Access and Sponsors to bring clinical trial opportunities to potential patient participants at events, large and small, communicating 1:1 and in group settings to potential patient participants. * Accountable to manage the end-to-end process including but not limited to: pre-event communication with the community event organizer, recommend CARE staffing, coordinate Care Access personnel, order materials, prepare and set-up for events, deliver education, and break-down events. * Create a localized plan to include outreach activities, tracking of calls, and achievement of KPIs. * Achieve KPIs as desi
