Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human services, counseling, workforce development or related field. Candidates with a combination of lesser education and relevant experience are welcome to apply.
- At least 3 years of case management or career advising experience, preferably within WIOA or similar workforce development programs.
- Experience serving individuals with barriers to employment (e.g., justice-involved, low-income, disabled, long-term unemployed).
- Strong understanding of career pathways, labor market information, and industry trends.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct barrier assessments and build rapport with diverse populations.
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry, documentation, and compliance.
- Proficiency in using case management systems (such as VOS, SC Works, or similar platforms).
- Ability to work independently while managing a dynamic caseload.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and critical thinking skills.
