A top-tier, publicly traded company is seeking an Investment Banking Associate to join their Capital Markets team. Working alongside the Senior Director of Capital Markets, the Associate/Senior Associate will play a key role providing analysis and reporting for the capital markets, acquisitions and corporate finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Support high level capital markets transactions, including equity offerings, debt issuances and loan originations
• Support the commercial paper function to meet short-term liquidity needs
• Assist in hedging activities, including interest rate swaps and assist in secured debt originations on acquisitions and dispositions
• Play key role in quarterly earnings calls and earnings QA with institutional analysts, including providing footnotes for financial transactions
• Build out decks for Board of Directors meetings and financial institutions
• Monitor, analyze and report capital markets and key macroeconomic activities

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Real Estate or related field. MBA from top-tier school a plus
• Investment Banking background or 2+ years of relevant capital markets background a plus
• New grads from top-schools and an excellent investment banking internship background are welcome to apply
• Mastery in Microsoft Excel, including sophisticated financial modelling background is required
• A clear passion for capital markets and making a positive impact with a top-tier team
• Excellent communication skills, collaborate and thrives in a fast-paced, corporate finance department
