A rapidly growing, well-known food manufacturing company is seeking a Supply Chain Planner/Production Planner to join their growing team. Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, this role will build weekly and monthly reporting for production capacity while working alongside Production Manager to optimize plant capacity in a rapidly moving food production environment.

Responsibilities

• Publish weekly and monthly plans for production and capacity
• Optimize food production time by streamlining flavor changeovers
• Plan production to ensure timely fulfillment of orders, strong inventory management and optimal production runs
• Work with Production Manager to optimize plant capacity and plan for future demand
• Clearly understand plant requirements and constraints at plant level for production planning, including minimum/maximum batch and run sizes, material sequencing on resources and material availability
• Work with operations and supply chain team to ensure effective production scheduling

Requirements

• 3+ years of supply chain management experience, preferably in the consumer products or food manufacturing sectors
• Associates Degree Required, Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Supply Chain or related field preferred
• Highly proficient with Excel and entire Microsoft Office Suite
• Works well in a fun and collaborative, fast paced-environment
