    Supply Chain Analyst - Food Manufacturing Company

    One of the fastest growing consumer products companies in Southern California is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to play a key role on their Supply Chain team. Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, the Supply Chain Analyst will play a key role in reviewing and forecasting demand, sales and trends to create statistical forecasts and lead and deliver on high level projects.

    Responsibilities

    • Collect & analyze data on supply chain operations, such as yield, inventory levels, raw material spend, logistics costs, etc.)
    • Analyze forecast and demand to drive effective inventory management
    • Lead and collaborate with Sales and Marketing regarding overstock inventory and to reduce inventory exposure
    • Collaborate with Planning for adjustments to operational forecasts
    • Support Sales Operations and Demand Planning to implement and execute a formal S&OP process (Product performance, Customer Demand, Supply Resources, etc)
    • Support buyers and planner with forecast data for proper planning of raw materials and finished goods
    • Support Buyer in performance analysis by category and item to better evaluate supplier base
    • Support Logistics, Customer Service, Planning, Purchasing in any data tracking & analysis

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Finance, Business Management or related field. MBA, CPM or APICS certification a plus
    • 3 + years of experience in a data analysis, inventory management, planning, or supply chain analysis role or related position
    • Experience within the food manufacturing sector a plus
    • Highly proficient with Excel and exceptional analytical skills
    • Excellent communication skills and a team player
    • Experience with large ERP system is a plus (such as Netsuite, Oracle, MS Dynamics)
