Senior Property Manager - Birmingham, Alabama

A tier-1, publicly traded commercial real estate firm is seeking a Senior Property Manager to help lead their team in their bustling Birmingham, Alabama market. Working with some of the leading hospitals and medical facilities in the region, the Senior Property Manager will manage key relationships across their entire Birmingham healthcare portfolio. This is an excellent role for an experienced Property Manager with a healthcare or commercial real estate background looking to level up their career with one of the largest healthcare real estate companies in the nation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and foster working relationships with healthcare partners, JV partners, and key vendors
• Address tenant concerns quickly, while proactively meeting with key tenants to review property operations
• Coordinate tenant survey process, including implementing new programs and processes
• Maximize recoverable income, while working with accounting and finance teams on developing property level budgets across entire portfolio
• Report and review property cash flows and overall property operations, while assisting with collection of market data
• Ensure operational compliance, such as contract reviews, insurance compliance, etc, and coordinate all phases of pre and post-move in process

Requirements

• Bachelors in Real Estate, Business, Marketing, Finance, Accounting or related degree
• 5+ years experience in commercial real estate property management, with experience in healthcare properties a plus but not required
• Experience in analysis and reporting of financial data, with Excel and Yardi experience a plus
• Excellent communication skills, a team player, and a strong sense of urgency and initiative
• Ability to maintain and build relationships with real estate business community, with a passion to further develop and grow career in the commercial real estate sector
