A well-known and rapidly growing food manufacturing company is seeking an Inventory Specialist to help track inventory across all inventory sites. This is a great role for someone with strong Excel, reporting and analytical skills. The role could move into a permanent role in the future, but role is expected to last at least 3 - 4 months.
Responsibilities
- Manage all inventory assemblies.
- Record and reconcile month end inventory across all inventory sites.
- Record all transfers to various inventory sites and reconcile any differences.
- Process initial credit memos from RMA and other returning finished goods.
- Manage Freight and Vendor claims.
- Manage inventory lot numbers across various inventory sites
- Properly manage and record all item receipts and dispositions.
- Create and maintain internal items in reporting software.
- Maintain internal control procedures: documentation needed for both internal and external auditors.
- Able to manage large amounts of data in excel.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ideally someone with a strong inventory/financial analysis or accounting/cost accounting background preferred within the manufacturing sector
- Able to adapt to fast paced environment, ability to multi-task.
- Requires strong Analytical skills.
- Requires strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strict attention to detail, highly organized and efficient
- Proficient at identifying trends and what stands out as unusual
- Strong Excel skills and proficient with manipulating large amounts of data
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, high school degree required.
