A rapidly growing consumer products company is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their growing accounting team. Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager and working closely with the Controller, the AP Specialist will be responsible for verifying invoice accuracy and manage the full cycle AP process.

Responsibilities

• Manage full cycle AP process, including batch, code enter and pay invoices
• Assist with month-end close, GL, bank reconciliations and financial reporting
• Generate check runs and match checks, prepare and process wire transfers
• Prepare analysis of accounts and product weekly/monthly/quarterly reports
• Manage and reconcile company credit cards
• Inventory accounting and accounting for cost of goods sold

Requirements

• High school degree required, AA or BA preferred
• Proficiency with Excel and the entire Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication skills
• QuickBooks/large ERP systems experience a plus
• Experience with inventory accounting a plus, not required
