AP Specialist - Consumer Products Company

A rapidly growing consumer products company is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their growing accounting team. Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager and working closely with the Controller, the AP Specialist will be responsible for verifying invoice accuracy and manage the full cycle AP process. 

Responsibilities

• Manage full cycle AP process, including batch, code, enter and pay invoices
• Manage vendor setup process within AP module and supporting systems
• Assist with month-end close, GL, bank reconciliations and financial reporting
• Generate check runs and match checks, prepare and process wire transfers
• Prepare analysis of accounts and produce weekly/monthly/quarterly reports
• Manage and reconcile company credit cards

Requirements

• High school degree required, AA or BA in Accounting preferred
• Proficiency with Excel and the entire Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication skills
• QuickBooks/large ERP systems such as Netsuite a plus
• Demonstrated experience within high volume corporate Accounts Payable department
