Senior Property Accountant - Commercial Real Estate

A top tier, publicly traded company in Irvine is looking for a few Senior Property Accountants to join their team. Reporting directly to the Director of Operational Accounting, these Senior Property Accountant roles will focus on building out monthly financial statements, assist with forecasting and budgeting and help with the preparation of reporting schedules. These are excellent roles for top performing Senior Associates with either a strong public accounting foundation and/or experience with large data sets within a large corporate accounting environment.

Responsibilities

• Review monthly financial statements including variances to budget and account reconciliations prepared by 3rd party management companies
• Assist with forecasting and budgeting
• Assist in the review of annual cam reconciliations
• Help prepare various 10Q/K disclosures and quarterly reporting schedules
• Assist with internal and external audit requests
• Review set up of real estate leases and amendments

Requirements

• Bachelors in Accounting, Finance or related field
• 3+ years of Corporate and/or public accounting experience
• Real estate accounting experience required
• Highly proficient with Excel
• Knowledge of MRI and/or Yardi required
• Excellent communication skills and thrives in a collaborative environment
