AR Manager - San Bernardino, CA

A rapidly growing consumer products company is seeking an Accounts Receivable Manager to join their growing accounting team. Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager and working closely with the Controller, the AR Manager will be responsible for preparing customer statements, bills and invoices and reconcile expenses.

Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Receivable process, including posting receipts to GL accounts and verifying details of transactions.
• Compile and sort documents, prepare and post invoices and credit and debit memos

• Work closely with collections verifying status of delinquent accounts
• Work closely with AP and GL team with general reporting and month-end close
• Prepare analysis of accounts and product weekly/monthly/quarterly reports
• Handle charge-backs, marketing allowance rebates, commissions and promotions

Requirements

• High school degree required, AA or BA preferred
• Proficiency with Excel and the entire Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience within a consumer packaged corporate environment preferred, not required
• Excellent communication skills
• QuickBooks/large ERP systems experience a plus
• Experience with inventory accounting a plus, not required
