    Job Description

    A popular social media network with headquarters in San Francisco is seeking a People Operations Coordinator to join their team on a contract basis! In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring an excellent overall employee experience. You will provide seamless and client-focused support throughout the employee lifecycle from onboarding, transfers, performance cycles and critical moments through departure. We’re looking for a resourceful and organized individual who demonstrates a high degree of integrity and confidentiality.

     

    This is a 6-month contract role.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Extract information from various systems to create and maintain electronic employee files
    • Support the employee pre-hire process - file onboarding documents, update I-9s, distribute paperwork
    • Provide program management support for calendered planning cycles and events, including promotions, compensation planning, and manager trainings
    • Coordinate offboarding activities as people exit the organization, including exit interviews
    • Assist with day to day responsibilities, process improvement, and people programming
    • Process employee changes in the company’s HRIS
    • Streamline and manage severance process, including drafting separation agreements, coordinating offboarding activities, and processing any necessary payments as people leave the organization
    • Serve as first point of contact for all general HR inquiries
    • Partner with team members on special projects as needed

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • 2-3 years of experience in an HR administration, operations or generalist role, preferably in the technology industry
    • Professional, friendly demeanor; customer service oriented
    • Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet manner
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Desire to learn about the people function
    • Proactive with the ability to prioritize workload efficiently
    • Ability to proactively anticipate business needs and process improvements
