Job Description

A start-up educational institution that specializes in computer science is seeking a recruiter to join their team in San Francisco! In this role, you will oversee the entire recruiting process from sourcing candidates to negotiating offers as you work to identify the best talent. You will foster relationships with hiring managers to better understand current needs, and provide insight on job descriptions and recruiting strategy. We are looking for a performance-oriented individual with a go-getter attitude and a passion for helping people.

This is a 3-6 month contract role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Seek out top talent using a variety of online recruitment platforms
• Meet with internal cross-functional teams to best identify their needs and hiring objectives
• Conduct initial phone screening and provide hiring recommendations to teams
• Act as first point of contact to candidates with regards to interviews and placement updates
• Assist with developing comprehensive recruiting plans for all teams, beginning with talent sourcing and ending with on-boarding
• Advise upper management on best practices to attract and retain talent

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3+ years’ full-cycle sourcing and/or recruiting experience
• Prior work experience in higher education preferred
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Demonstrated background in sourcing top talent at all experience levels
• Strong networking and communication skills
• A teamwork-oriented mentality
• Ability to prioritize projects in an ever-changing workplace
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
