    Job Description

    Our client, an established and growing wealth management firm in Los Angeles, is seeking an experienced Client Associate, or Head of Client Operations, to join their office. This role is expected to oversee operations of the firm both internally and externally and this person will be responsible for enhancing the client experience by providing exceptional client service, supporting the Advisors as needed, including providing both operational and administrative support, and understanding firm values, principles, and procedures that will allow them to work with the Advisors, as well as, both new and existing clients, in all aspects.  

    A successful candidate will have a customer-focused attitude and have a history of working in wealth management and financial services, including experience with on-boarding new clients, cashiering, knowledge of appropriate paperwork, note-taking, scheduling, etc. He or she will be comfortable handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, support and drive firm initiatives and maintain risk awareness and regulatory knowledge.  For the right candidate, this is an exciting role with an expanding company that provides growth opportunity.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Support Advisors in managing the full-cycle of Wealth Management, including serving as a liaison between team and client as needed.
    • Manage client requests, resolve client inquires, and make sure key client information is up to date, for both for new and existing clients.
    • Manage new client on-boarding, which includes the collection of required documentation and client information.
    • Collaborate with Advisors and work alongside one other Associate.
    • Attend to recurring and ad hoc cash and security transfer requests, general support of portfolio and investment strategies, reviewing client transactions, activities, and alternative investment valuations.
    • Coordinate client statements and management fees.
    • Interaction with all levels of management in the firm regarding client accounts.
    • Perform administrative and ad hoc duties that support the Advisory team in daily business practices.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 3+ years of wealth advisory operations and experience, REQUIRED.
    • Deep understanding of Wealth Management industry, including investment advisory operations and wealth management platform experience.
    • Deep expertise in CRM REQUIRED.
    • Experience with ACT!, eMoney, and Black Diamond is preferred
    • Professional competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
    • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
    • Consultative, client-focused approach to meet client needs and deliver results.
    • Outstanding organizational and project management skills with strong attention to detail.
    • Proactive with a proven ability to take initiative and follow through with little supervision.
    • Team-oriented with strong integrity and professionalism.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
