We are assisting a nonprofit healthcare organization in So. Ca fill a Clinical Informaticist position. 

Patient Services Health Informatics Specialist will pull and analyze data requested by the Patient Services Department. This position will obtain, analyze, and present data to improve quality of care, compliance and ensure health equity of organization.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Education:

• Minimum Bachelor of Science (BS) or Bachelor of Arts (BA) in informatics, mathematics, statistics, information management, computer science, or related field.

Minimum Work Experience:

• 2-4 years of healthcare data analysis.

Other Requirements:

• Understanding of healthcare procedures.
• Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (prefer eClinicalWorks experience).
• Proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL) and other data analysis tools.
• Experience with Tableau preferred.
• Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) experience.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Data presentation and interpretation skills.
• Manage data requests from patient services staff.
• Utilize project management system (Work Front) document data requests.
• Develop a record-keeping process.
• Work collaboratively with multiple departments to obtain meaningful data requirements and results.
• Assess and evaluate raw data.
• Interpret and discover discrepancies and patterns in data.
• Present data in a meaningful way.
