We are assisting a large nationally recognized not-for-profit hospital in one of the most beautiful locations on the Central Coast of California to fill an opening for Cardiac Sonographer (Clinic).

The Cardiac Sonographer (Clinic) performs echocardiograms and related stress exams and calculates measurements to obtain data used in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with possible cardiac related symptoms in the outpatient clinic setting.

The Cardiac Sonographer will need to have operational knowledge of echocardiography and electrocardiographic equipment. Knowledge of basic human anatomy and a thorough knowledge of cardiac anatomy Knowledge of basic and advanced arrhythmias and ability to operate computers.

 Experience: 

• Minimum: Two (2) years of adult echocardiography experience.
• Preferred: 5+ years of adult echocardiography experience

Education: 

• Completion of an AMA approved training program
• Registered by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as a Cardiac Sonographer Basic Life Support Certification.
• Preferred: ACLS Certification.
