Job Description:
As the Assistant Nurse Manager you will be overseeing either one large unit or multiple smaller units within our 24-hour department. In this role, you'll be instrumental in driving the implementation, delivery, and continual enhancement of quality patient care and nursing operations. We're seeking a dedicated professional who can integrate services seamlessly with nursing standards of practice, service priorities, and performance/outcomes measures, all while aligning with the overarching goals and objectives of our department, business, and organization.

Responsibilities:
Dynamic Leadership: Directly supervise a unit or multiple units, ensuring the delivery of exceptional nursing services and patient care.
Innovation and Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in clinical practices, services, and operations by implementing cutting-edge systems and processes.
Patient-Centric Focus: Ensure patient care and quality standards meet or exceed federal, state, and local regulatory requirements. Be the driving force in developing coordinated plans of treatment and cost-effective utilization of services.
Team Development: Develop and implement action plans to enhance staff development, fostering a positive and growth-oriented work environment.
Collaborative Approach: Collaborate with healthcare providers both within and outside the unit to achieve optimal patient care across the continuum.
Qualifications:
Clinical Expertise: Bring a minimum of three (3) years of clinical nursing experience, including one (1) year in a leadership role.
Educational Background: Hold a BSN or bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or be committed to completing it within two (2) years of hire.
Licensing and Certification: Possess a Registered Nurse License (California) and Basic Life Support certification.
Leadership Skills: Demonstrate knowledge of quality improvement, clinical care delivery processes, staffing, and budgeting. Showcase strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications: A master's degree is a plus, and ACLS certification is preferred.
