  • Responsibilities

    The right candidate will have logistics as a large part of their skill set. Preferably in a manufacturing setting.

    About the role

    Oversee process of planning and controlling the flow of goods in and out the warehouse.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Support company’s goals of quality, safety, productivity, and customer service.
    • Work closely with Materials Analysts and Dock Coordinators to manage pipeline.
    • Ensure the timely arrival and departure of scheduled materials.
    • Manage reporting of Carrier metrics to ensure on time deliveries
    • Work with Carriers directly regarding claims and demurrage charges
    • Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

       

      Essential Skills

      • Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in related field or equivalent preferred but not required ? Two to four years related experience or equivalent.
      • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
      • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
    • Must be proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project)
    • Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.

       

      Preferred Skills

      • Bilingual.
      • Inventory background.
      • Supply Chain experience.
      • Knowledgeable of warehouse management systems.
